Getting Started
Four steps from install to your first AI-executed task.
Create an Account
Launch the app and create an account or sign in. This enables real-time collaboration and syncs your tasks across devices.
Create Your First Team
Teams are the top-level container for organizing your work. Create a team and invite collaborators using invite codes.
Set Up a Project
Within a team, create a project and link it to a local directory. This is where the AI agent will execute tasks.
Create and Execute Tasks
Add tasks to your Kanban board, write detailed descriptions, and click "Start with Plan" to let the AI agent create an execution plan and get to work.
03
Configuration
Set up your environment for the best experience.
API Keys
Configure your API key for each agent you want to use. Claude, GPT, Gemini — each uses its own key.
Local Directory
Link each project to a folder on your machine. The AI agent reads and writes files in this directory.
Agent Selection
Choose which AI agent to use for each task. Different models excel at different things.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Sugar Banana.
01How much does Sugar Banana cost?
Sugar Banana comes with a 30-day free trial — no credit card required. After that, it's $20/month per user. You bring your own API keys for the AI models you want to use.
02What AI agents are supported?
Sugar Banana supports Claude, GPT, Gemini, Codex, and Copilot. Choose the right agent for each task — different models excel at different things.
03Is my data secure?
Yes. AI agent execution happens locally on your machine. Your files are only sent to the AI API when you explicitly run a task. Task metadata is synced for collaboration, but your local files never leave your machine.
04Can I use Sugar Banana offline?
Task management works offline with local caching. AI agent execution and real-time collaboration require an internet connection.
05What platforms are supported?
Sugar Banana is available for macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel) and Windows (x64 & ARM64). It's a native desktop app — not a browser tab or extension.
