Sugar Banana ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our desktop application and related services.

When you create an account, we collect your email address, encrypted password, and optional display name.

To enable collaboration, we store team names and settings, workspace and project names, task titles and descriptions, statuses, comments, and discussions.

Your local files and source code, execution history and logs, API keys, and application settings stay on your device and are not sent to our servers.

We use collected information to provide and improve the service, enable collaboration, authenticate users, send important updates, and respond to support requests.

Execution happens locally on your machine.

Your files are sent directly to the AI provider when you explicitly run a task, not through our servers.

We do not have access to your local files or AI conversations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with your team members for collaboration and when required by law.

We use encrypted transmission, secure password hashing, row-level security for team isolation, and regular security monitoring.

You can access, correct, delete, and export your data, and withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact privacy@sugarbanana.app to exercise these rights.

We retain data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, personal data is deleted within 30 days unless longer retention is required by law.

Sugar Banana is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date when material changes are made.
